Sage 100c 2021.2 update failing

SOLVED

I'm trying to install the update on top of my 2021.1 installation (test environment). I have restarted and tried running as domain admin, all still fails. There is no error description and I don't see anything in the event viewer. IT seems to be failing on the merge dictionary files task.

    resolution:

Got on with Sage support. After looking at procmon and the log files (location of which was seen in procmon) it was determined to be a SQL server error. The SQL error message logged by Sage identified an issue with recreating the key on a log table (Definition change table). It'd have been nice if the Sage error message included that, but whatever. Manually trying to recreate the table revealed the problem: table was used in replication and therefore could not be modified or dropped. Destroying the replication packages allowed the process to continue. In retrospect, I should have seen if disabling replication would have solved my issues but I wanted to let support move on to another case.
