The work files are corrupt. Make sure all the temp work files that are created during printed are deleted. Then re-initialize the sales order work files.

I'd also check the form to see if someone has corrupted the report groups.  In v4.40 you should see two groups.

Are these the temp work files?

The files with user/date/time stamp are from crashed print jobs and can be deleted.  Leave the ones without user/date/time stamp as that is the original table (which should be empty).

Reinitialize is a fancy word for "delete everything".  Be VERY careful with that utility or you will delete valuable data.  Always create a backup first.

If your issue is with Sales Order printing, SO_SalesOrderWrk.

If your issue is with Picking Sheet printing, SO_PickingSheetWrk.

Work tables should always be blank.
