Dependent UDFs

Here is what I am trying to do:

basically UDF # 1 will have options A, B, and C. UDF # will have options A through Z. If opton A is selected in UDF #1 then the user will be able to select A-D in UDF #2, if option B is selected in UDF #1 then user will be able to select E-P in UDF#2, etc

Any suggestions on how to do this in Sage ERP 100 Premium 5.30.1.0

As far as I know it is not possible to have cascading UDFs as you described

Validation on the first UDF, and then a script to make sure the second value is valid, given the value in the first UDF... plus a script to wipe out the second UDF, if the first one is changed.
I don't know of a way to have any form of selection list for the second UDF.

If you want different options in the list box, you'd need to create multiple UDF's for each list. Then with script, you can show the correct list after the option in UDF #1 is selected, and hide all the others.
