Emailing customer

Morning,

We have a company that is closing and we would like to email all are customers in Sage letting them know this... is there a way to do this. Or can edit the email template that is used when emailing invoices to customers.

    Customer Statement printing might work (in the AR - Period End menu), with a customized message configured in Paperless (Electronic Delivery Message Maintenance). You can certainly edit the email message for outgoing invoices in the same place, but that won't get to everyone (which could be fine).

    You'd have to set up Statement emailing for each customer, and there would be a PDF attached by the Sage program... so it might be easier to just query all your customers / contacts / open orders for unique email addresses, then use a 3rd party service (like Mail Chimp) for the emails, or send manual emails (with a BCC to large groups).
