When using the Sage 100 ODBC Driver with MQ Query in Excel uncheck "Use the Query Wizard to create/edit queries"

I leave Query Wizard unchecked. We're using 64bit driver.

I can connect via Data Tab > Get Data > From Other Sources > From ODBC.

We just don't like that as it's slower (Loads the entire table) and using the MS Query has the criteria tools we want.

You've tried using MS Query without any filters?  Different tables?  If there is an illegal date value in the table you are querying that could cause a crash.

Just tried without filters...crashed again.

What Kevin is referring to is that sometimes there maybe a corrupt value in a date field which will cause a query to crash.

If your using a connection string add EnforceNULLDate=1;

If a DSN set NULL Date: to checked.

I'm using the sotamas90 driver. I checked the Null Date...queried and tried to return data...crashed

Can you post your SQL statement? or Try your query on a demo data company?
