  • Here are two new issues we've encountered either internally or with our beta partners:

    1. if your browser window is set to less than 1280x1024, you may receive errors when opening Sage 100 programs that have larger screens.  If you shrink down your browser window and open a larger screen program like Sales Order Entry or even Company Maintenance, you will get an error 29 and/or 65.  We will see if we can trap this error in the future and provide an appropriate message.  If you encounter one of these errors, make sure your browser window is large enough to accommodate the screen that's being launched.  Remember that scaling your application text size in the Launcher makes the screens being launched even larger.

    2. If you are using Chrome or Edge, possibly with older, slower processors, you may notice that screen refresh is laggy or choppy.  Some screens may not even repaint unless you hover over or select a control.  This is not happening with all machines using Chrome or Edge.  We have reported the issue to SparkView and they have provided a configuration fix that appears to solve the problem.

    1. Disable Accelrated 2D canvas in Chrome.  chrome://flags/#disable-accelerated-2d-canvas
    1. Make sure you have "&smoothfont=on" in the websocket url.

There may be similar settings for Edge since Edge is based on Chrome.  Safari did not have this issue with this particular hardware so switching to Safari or another supported browser may also be a solution.
