Is The Report Designer Connection To Sage Live?

I'm curious to know if the data coming through the add-in are a live connection to Sage, or just the data that was available when first created the report from the Report Manager in Sage Business Intelligence.

I have a balance sheet report that I run each month. If I update the cell reference for the month, I can see the values change in the cell. This made me think it was a live connection. Today I went back into last month's report and changed the month reference to current month. The value changed, but not the the amount I have in Sage. There's not a new account I'm missing.

    The Report Designer reports will contain all Years/Periods  as of the time you ran it. To show any data entered after you will have to rerun the report.

    New accounts showing up depends on how you set up the GL Account cells. If you have a range and the new account is in the range it will automatically be included. Also, if you set the cells to have just the Main Account segment the account will be included.
