Copy Bill of Materials master files to a new company

Has anyone copied the BM_Header and BM_Detail files from one company to another company?

Just curious if there are reasons not to try this.

We do not need any history, just the bill of materials master files.

If they use BOM Options, don't forget the BM_OptionCategory, BM_OptionInteractionHeader and BM_OptionInteratcionDetail tables.

Export out of first company and import into the second.
