PSP = Picking Sheets Printing
PPS = Print Picking Sheet
SOH = "SO_SalesOrderHeader" table
SOP = "SO_SalesOrderPrint" table
The PSP program's "Select" and "Clear" buttons in the PSP program affects both the PPS "Y|N" field in the SOH and the adding or removing records to or from the SOP with the "PrintType" field set to "4" (which means PPS).
Two things happen whenever the PPS check-box is set by a default, by using the PSP program's "Select" button or by manually checking it in Sales Order Entry:
- The PPS Y|N field is set to "Y"
- A SOP record (with PrintType="4") is added to the Sales Order Print (SOP) table.
The PSP program's "Clear" button, always clears any SOP "PrintType=4" records, but only clears PPS Checkboxes for sales orders that were previously selected by the PSP program's "Select" button.
So the challenges are:
- Why doesn’t the "Clear" button always clear a sales order's PPS checkbox instead of only after the “Select" button is used on it first? Isn’t this misleading? It was for me.
- Why does the "Clear" button work differently in PSP than in Sales Order Printing?
