Excel button on Customer List greyed out

Hello,

I'm stumped on this one. In Customer Inquiry>Customer List lookup there is an Excel export option to the left of the printer icon. For this user it is greyed out, but for me it's working fine. I looked into Role Maintenance for the user's roles and I don't see a setting that looks like it would enable this, and she's been able to do it for years.

Any ideas?

What version? In v2021, there is a role setting under the security tab, Library Master - Allow Export to Excel from Lookups/Grids/Lists.

Excel is installed on the workstation? I remember this used to work only with 32-bit Excel, so that may be the issue too.

This happens when the .exe for Excel is in a location other than where Sage expects it.

I would assume Sage is accessing Excel via OLE. As long as the Excel components are registered its physical install location shouldn't matter.
