Blank Field on Line 15 of Form 1095-c

When printing Forms 1095-C through Aatrix, I am getting the message on a huge number of employees that states "Employee coverage offer code 1A, and 1F-1I require the employee share to be blank". However in Sage if you leave this field blank it auto fills it with .00.

Aatrix is bringing in the .00 and does not consider it "Blank" and won't let you proceed until you blank out the field. You can blank out the field in Aatrix, but this would take forever. Has anyone seen this or know of a way to blank out the field in Sage?

I called Aatrix and they are aware of the issue and are working on a fix.

It has been fixed. Aatrix still pulls in the 0.00, but there is a prompt within Aatrix to blank out fields that contain a 0.00.

That's nice, but it happens to every employee who was not an "all year" employee. With our turnover, I'd miss the March deadline if I tried to do it manually. Do we know where it's getting the zero?

You don't have to do it manually. I can't remember exactly where it asks within Aatrix, but at some point a prompt comes up and it's just a click of a button and all fields with a .00 are replaced with a blank field. So even if you had a hundred employees with this problem it should only take a couple of seconds.

Again - I can't remember at what point the prompt comes up, but it does come up. Assuming you have updated Aatrix with the latest available update.

Thanks, Joe. I didn't find the button you mention, so I tried a few manually to see what would happen. When I blank out the zero, it clears that error, but it also blanks out the zeros for the months the employee WAS covered.

Sage could help us a lot by showing us the mapping between Sage and Aatrix, so we could correct this in Sage, then move forward.

Sage, are you listening?

Maybe you're having a different issue than what I was having, because it was fixed within Aatrix (not Sage) on a product update at the beginning of January.

It can't be corrected in Sage, because the field that Aatrix pulls that amount from will not allow a blank to be entered within Sage. If you leave it blank, Sage forces a .00 into that field.

Thanks, Joe. I see where the Sage field is a numeric. I'm starting a case with our reseller - I can't be the only one with this problem.

I believe there is an option or button in Aatrix that will remove the .00s. Not sure where it is though.
