1099-MISC Box 14 data populates Box 15a in 1099 Preparer grid. In 1099 History in AP Vendor Maintenance, the data resides correctly in Box 14

Cause
The current year 1099 boxes were created based on prior year 1099 Boxes which included Box 11 Foreign Tax Paid and Box 12 Foreign Country or U.S. Possession. Box 11 and Box 12 were removed from the 1099 in 2014.

Resolution
Choose one of the following resolutions below to resolve the issue going forward. Note: If you have already printed or submitted to Aatrix eFiled 1099-MISC forms, please see Related Article below or contact Sage Support at 800-854-3415.

For either method below, please browse to the ..\MAS90\MAS_System folder and make a copy of the SY_1099Setup.m4t file.

Resolution #1:
1.Open Library Master, Utilities, Data File Display & Maintenance
2.Browse and open the ..\MAS90\MAS_System\SY_1099Setup.m4t file
3.Select the M201411 record and click Delete (note: replace 2014 with current year)
4.Select the M201412 record and click Delete (note: replace 2014 with current year)
5.Run 1099's in Aatrix to confirm Box 14 is populated correctly

Resolution #2:
1099 Utility:
1.Select File, Run
2.Enter SY_1099maint_ui in the Program field
3.Answer OK to the following warning: "The Form 1099 Box Maintenance utility is used to maintain 1099 boxes for calendar years that do not have 1099 form information available. If the 1099 form has changed, visit the Sage Software Online Web site to download the latest 1099 information. Use this utility only under the direction of a Sage Customer Support Representative."
4.1099 Form Type = Miscellaneous
5.Calendar Year = enter current year (i.e. - 2014)
6.Box ID = 11
7.Select Delete. Answer YES to "Do you want to delete Box ID 11?"
8.Repeat same steps to remove Box 12

Thank you for the quick response. I searched and didn't locate anything, but box 14 in the W-2.
