Comparing 3rd party data with Sage 100 ERP data

SOLVED

I am not sure if this is the right forum and apologize if it is not. Here is my issue. My company uses a manufacturer that is out of state and can get us data 2 different ways, through opening up a web service to us or sending a spreadsheet. These would contain packing lists of products they are drop shipping to customers. What I would like to be able to do is somehow compare this data with Open orders in Sage 100 to make sure we are invoicing and closing out those orders correctly. I would appreciate suggestions on how I might approach this.

My suggestion would be to get the data in an Excel file. Link it into an Access database and then create a SQL Specific Pass Through Query into MAS. From there it is just a simple matter of creating queries to see what you want.

depends on how sophisticated you want to get.  I am presuming you mean automatically.  either will work, but both will need a third party program to do the comparisons such as Access as BigLouie suggested.  The web service will most likely require a programmer, but on the up side would be the most up to date.
