Have you run the Inventory Details Transaction Report? Just saying.

Thanks.  Yes, I tried that but it doesn't give the option of choosing only receipt transactions.  Also, what I'm looking for is the age of the inventory that is currently in stock and the transaction report shows everyting... what's been received, invoiced, issued, etc.

What is your valuation method? Standard, Average, FIFO, Lot or Serial?

FIFO, but we do have items that are serialized as well

I used Crystal and wrote a report that only pulls in certain transaction types and it is based upon a date range that i enter.

If you want a report that shows the age of inventory in stock then you would build a report off of the Item Costing table which has the receipt date in it.

What I would do is select Data Only Export as my printer and then then export the report to Excel, select application rather then file for where it should go.  The report will open in excel and you can use the sum functions to get the totals you want.  You may need to play with the export options to get it formated so this is easy but I think it will work.
