Slow Performance After Upgrading to Sage 100 2022

Recently upgraded Sage 100 from 2019 to the 2022 version. A 5 to 7 User system.  Users have been 'complaining' that the system is slower than what was experienced in the previous version. Example interactive response times in areas such as Sales Orders, Inventory, AP, etc have gone from a 3 to 5 seconds to 12 to 15+ in most cases.  Users have also reported that update processing (like daily transaction register updates) sometimes stalls. Users have to cancel task, maybe exit and restart Sage 100, and then do the processing again. Users are on new mid to high end machines with 16GB memory & SSD drives,1GB wired connections. Server is 2012 R2 (will be upgrading before EOY, possibly to cloud), but not having any issues with the server end.

Up to now I haven't had the time to review it in depth, but I plan to make it a priority next week. I know that some suggestion will probably be about removing real-time scanning from AV software. I will test this, but my experience in other scenarios is that this almost never is the issue.
Just looking for feedback if some of you have had similar experience.
User experience was much better before the 2022 upgrade.
