We currently use Sage 100 and at our processing points we use StarShip to ship orders.  Starship pulls the order information from Sage 100 which is on the server, After the information loads and weight shows F5 is pressed to process order. Then part of the next process the order is invoiced, FedEx is contacted with shipping info , FedEx sends back a tracking number.  The invoice and FedEx label prints.  

I processed 11 - 2 piece orders at 6AM and 11 at 7AM so far. The average load time between Sage 100 and StarShip @6 7.452 Seconds and from pressing 5F to process or until labels printing 17.132 Seconds, @ 8.761 to load 20.282 to process.

Not sure how make the transfers faster, all the connections are gig connections.
