What do you mean by "if they have a w-9 or not"?  Whether they have a physical w-9 on file or simply tracking 1099 information or something else?

I suppose you could add a UDF (user defined field) to track this information.  Seems like a checkbox UDF would work well.  Then, you can create a custom report using Crystal Reports.  Finally, add the new report to the A/P Custom Reports menu.
