Anyone?

The Deferred printing screen crashes when we try to open it, but I have ideas on how to deal with that (in SQL).  Before we start to process the output, I'd like to know what is possible...

Unfortunately there isn't currently the option to print the Deferred Printing jobs to Paperless Office.

Thanks for the confirmation Steve.  Does "currently" mean that something is being considered for the development roadmap? 

I can probably convince the customer to wait if there might be a way they could upgrade and get the PDF's later.  (Or perhaps I should just save the M4D's and table data for potential reprocessing later).

Nothing on the roadmap.  When I had first read your posting it peaked my interest and I had looked into what could be done but it isn't a quick enhancement.

Hi Kevin, Are you looking to convert the deferred print jobs to PDF or to convert the deferred print jobs to PDF and get them linked into paperless office?

It is most important to have access to the reports (in case an auditor asks for details).  Paperless would be most convenient because of the filters / index / file names (being able to quickly find details for a specific journal / register)... but processing to PDF in bulk would be much better than printing to paper.

If this were enhanced, I imagine it would allow some smoothed over support requests too.  Paperless lockfile error messages are all too common (after Windows Updates) and sometimes workstation admin credentials are not readily available (for the regedit fix / workstation repair).  If we could just advise to post as Deferred, and later process to Paperless... or print invoices to Deferred and print / email them later... those would be nice options.
