With 2016,  2015 PU 3 ... (essentially the latest updates just released) be aware of the following.

There are new activation keys that must be entered or your payroll will not function.

One additional tip that I just learned.   If you put in the activation keys prior to installing the product update,   you must go back and re-activate again after installing the update or you will get a message indicating that the activation has expired.
