Part of Direct Deposit Returned

Question

Hello, 
 We have an employee who disperses their direct deposit into several accounts. On this last payroll, one of their banks sent back their part of the direct deposit. Can I reverse a direct deposit partially, recouping the funds in Sage from this bank? Then, I would issue a check for the same amount.

You are not able to partially reverse an employees payroll direct deposit. You can only reverse an entire paycheck entry. For simplicity I would suggest issuing a check to the employee out of Accounts Payable. You can then edit the Deposit YTD amount for that bank account in Employee Maintenance > Direct Deposit window.
