Anyone using Time Track for Job Costing, but exporting the time track entries for outside payroll service to process payroll?
I have a client still using the OLD time card and exporting for processing payroll.
The employees are setup in payroll as normal with their wages so the correct information can be allocated to Job Cost. They process the time through payroll to get the total hours and then update the payroll module. Payroll is set not to post not post to GL but time does. We have all taxes set to zero. we did it this way because of the time card posting.
We then exported the updated payroll hours to the third party.
We did it that way because the time card posted differently.
I don't see why you couldn't do it with time track.
I have an application that both exports time along with earnings and deductions to external payroll services and then posts back the results of the payroll into the sage Pay Records such that there is no reconciliation. We also have a tool for importing time into Sage 100 contractor.
