Thanks for reaching out. KB 83107 advises that versions 2017 and higher "should update the payroll expiration date by selecting the Update button or selecting Edit, then Activate after entering the product keys and activating."

If that doesn't help, have you looked at the steps on upgrading the Payroll Module? This 2020 guide on pages 13-15 has the most recent details I could find. 

For further assistance and to access your product codes, you can create a Support Ticket on the Customer Portal which is monitored directly by the Technical Support Team. Please let us know if you need anything further.

I actually tried the re-activation work-around before I read your response and you are absolutely correct!  It worked when I reactivated.

There was a support case opened on your Payroll Subscription expired.  I am currently working to correct the date in our Entitlement server which is showing as 10/29/21.  This should be 5/23/2022.   show your Sage 100 Payroll subscription end date should is 7/30/2022.  I should have this fixed shortly and will contact you per the support ticket as soon as it is corrected
