Certified Payroll Report - Time Track and Payroll

SUGGESTED

We have a client that is converting from Sage 2017 to Sage 2020.  They do not own the Time Card module, but did have a Union Automation enhancement from Kissinger.  They will still use that enhancement in the new version.  DO they have to purchase and set up Time Track in Payroll in order to get the Certified Payroll report?  I have conflicting information on this and would like to see what the correct answer is.

Thanks.

I would work with Kissinger and setup a test company as they want without Time Card module and process a payroll and see what you get is my suggestion. Basically have them show you how it is done on a test install.

I have spoken to both Kissinger and Sage.  Seems that no one knows if the TimeTrak module needs to be "purchased".  I have done some research and it looks like you HAVE to have TimeTrak in order to create the Certified Payroll report.  You don't have to use it though.  There is a setup option that the Certified Payroll has to have.  Now, if I could just get an answer on if it has to be purchased....frustrating.

In my Demo company ABC which has Payroll and the Certified Payroll Report in the Reports section. When I select the report it tells me I am not integrated with Job Cost. It does not say anything about Time Track. Time Track is not set up in this ABC company either. In my PR2 demo data company which was created for the new payroll version has Time Track set up and again the Certified Payroll Report says Job Cost is not integrated. So it appears you need Job Cost for it to run.

    Sue,

I spoke with our PAM at Sage. It appears that the price list still has Time Card listed. Per the Sage PAM, this would require a purchase of Time Card to use Time Track.
