Pay Stub PDF attachment not opening on device.

Our company emails pay stubs as most of our employees are remote. Some are not able to open the pay stubs from their devices. Once they enter the password to open the PDF attachment it reverts back to the password window and nothing happens.

    I just upgraded our Sage 100c Advanced v2018.2 with PR 2.19.2 to v2019.2 with PR 2.19.4 and the same thing happened with our first PR run since the upgrade.  I have had employees able to enter the password and open their DD stubs with iPhones and Samsung Androids, but a few cannot.  So it doesn't appear device specific.  No idea on the actual versions and operating systems.

    I installed Adobe Acrobat DC on the server and I'm leaning toward this as being the cause vs. Adobe Reader 10.  Haven't had time to test my theory.

    That is good to know it's not an isolated issue within our system. Kindly update when you test your theory!

    Update on findings so far.  Does NOT appear to have anything to do with one's carrier.

    Those that have iPhone OS 13.1.3 can NOT open pdf.  Those that have older versions, 11 or 12 can. 

    Those using Samsung Android v9 can open pdfs. 

    After some investigative work, it might have to do with the default PDF app to use.  Seems iOS 13.1.3 might not have Adobe Reader by default and have to be installed.

    Let me know if anyone else can confirm or deny my findings.  Hate to go down the rabbit hole if someone has done that already.

    Found iOS 13.1.3 was the issue.  Upgraded them to 13.3 and users were able to open PDF DD stubs on their phones.
