Description

Error 11 PRWRLB 1240 occurs during Payroll Tax Calculation or when printing the Payroll Data Entry Audit Report

Cause


There is a line in payroll data entry with a blank Earnings Code. This most commonly occurs when payroll data is imported.


Resolution


Click Info button
Click Debug button
Type ?K$ and press ENTER (this will return with the employee code causing the error)
Type bye and press ENTER (this will close debug window)  
Open Payroll, Main, Payroll Data Entry
Select the Empoyee from above with the bad record
Click on Lines tab
Locate and delete the bad line
Click Accept
Run Payroll Tax Calculation
Verify all entries on Payroll Audit Report
