TLS confusion

I am very confused.  There is a Product Update 6 for Sage 2020 which states it resolves the Microsoft End of Life Basic Authentication issue.  However, if you review the attached document, "How to configure Sage 100 OAuth E-mail settings for use with a Microsoft 36 App Registration", that document states you have to have a minimum of 2022.1 or 2021.4.  So WILL the Product Update 6 for Sage 2020 resolve the Oauth issue or not?  Will it resolve the Sage License server TLS issue for next year also?

I can't seem to find a document that spells all this our clearly by version.
