Our accounting team is having trouble with people posting to future periods which I am trying to resolve. In our test company, I have tried using the "Restrict Accounting Date to Current and One Future Period" in the company maintenance tab, and have tested this setting with a user who does not have permissions to override this setting. However, the best result I have been able to achieve is seeing a warning box that says something along the lines of "You are posting in a future period," but does not seem to deny the user access from actually posting in a future period. Any help with this would be much appreciated!
