Did you update the UDF or is it still pending?

Any other details you can share would be helpful.  What is the specific purpose of the UDF?

Is the UDF manually entered or is it populated via business objects?

The UDF is updated now.

The checkbox is manually checked off.  The purpose of the checkbox is to flag certain items to run through logic to look at the alternate items assigned to that specific item.

Now that the UDF has been updated, do you still get the same error?

Has someone played with the SQL database settings / permissions?  The "update" function should add the column to the table within all the company databases.

Not that I know of, I feel like I added a UDF to this table a month ago with no issues.

Remove the field from the table, update, then add it back and update.  (Removing / re-adding it from the panel won't do anything).

I've tried that before but I can try again, it's hard to do because we leave batches open and it is always a task to get everyone to close and post their batches.

Adding a field doesn't require closed batches.  Everyone just needs to close Sage 100 completely (well... close anything related to the table being worked with, so GL screens / reports might be OK).

An issue has been found when updating a UDF from Pending Changes with Sage 100 Premium; a fix has been made for this issue to be included in the next 2022-PU and 2023-PU.

A work-around for the issue is to update the table UDF after adding it in User-Defined Fields and not perform the update from Pending Changes.
