The information for a single VI job is stored in several data files plus a compiled file used to do the work defined in the job.
While it is possible to manually delete the information associated with a job using DFDM, it is dangerous and can lead to stranded records in one or more of the files.
The best way to delete a job is to use either V/I Import Job Maintenance or V/I Export Job Maintenance depending on the type of job.
Thanks,
Fred
I understand the risk with using DFDM we have a specific situation we are looking to use this for I totally agree in the best way is through the Maintenance.
G'day
What version of Sage 100 are you using?
Can you provide a little more details about this specific case?
Are there errors when trying to delete using the maintenance program?
Thanks,
Fred

This is a support ticket another one of our advanced support is working on I have been tasked with just the research
My best guess, if this is possible, is to delete the V/I job from the two files below in the MAS_System folder:
