An error occurred trying to create the Reporting Trees folder [\\server\si_repo$\ReportTrees]. The error was: The network path was not found.

End user has their Sage 100 hosted and they use Sage Intelligence report designer add-in for financial statements including the reporting trees feature. The financial statement report generates fine on the hosted site. It can be saved as excel on the hosted site and can be launched with no issues. However, the end user wants to use their laptop's local Excel to review and work with the report. The local laptop has Sage Intelligence installed and licensed. When the excel file is saved and launched from the laptop's local drive the cells report an error related to the reporting trees "An error occurred trying to create the Reporting Trees folder [\\rds11\si_repo$\ReportTrees]. The error was: The network path was not found." It appears to be looking for the .tre file on the server. We put a copy of the .tre file on the laptop's local drive as well as in the report repository path.
How can we tell Excel add-in where to look for the reporting trees .tre file on the local laptop? I can't figure out where to put in the path to the .tre file.

I just discovered that if you open the file on the laptop and then you generate a Sage Intelligence financial statement using the same tree on the laptop's Sage Intelligence the reporting tree path error on the financial statement from the server will go away when the generated report completes.  This is a "workaround" but hopefully there is a more elegant solution.
