Level 3 Transaction approvals through Sage Payment Solutions

It has come to our attention that some of you are struggling with getting your Level 3 credit card transactions approved when using Sage Payment Solutions and Sage 100. In order to ensure your success, here are a couple of things you will want to remember when entering those transactions:

  1. Select the Deposit Payment Type as "CREDIT CARD"
  2. Enter the card information (and make certain the Payment Type allows Corporate Cards)
  3. Enter the Corporate ID/PO
  4. Be certain to COMPLETE ALL of the Level 3 fields in the Level 3 dialog (null or empty fields will cause the transaction to fail Level 3 authorization and result in higher transaction fees)
  5. On the Lines tab, be certain to COMPLETE ALL Level 3 required fields:
    1. Commodity Code
    2. Tax Amount
    3. Tax Rate
    4. Discount Amount
    5. Alternate Tax ID
    6. Tax Type Applied
    7. Net/Gross
    8. Debit/Credit
  6. Remember, if you enter these transactions often, you can drag the required fields to the main grid for easier access.
