Import Bills for Component Requirement calculation

We are constantly updating the Bill #'s & Quantities for Gross Requirement Reports.

In an effort to eliminate that data entry, I am looking for tips on importing this data into the table (whatever table that is).

    Do you want to change the actual Bill Detail? The Bill of Material Maintenace task uses the BM_BillHeader, BM_BillDetail. Other options are importing into the Change Control files which allows you to use effective dates of change and change components for every bill where they are used. Check the help files for more information while in the different task windows.

    We do not need to change the bill detail. We are simply looking for the table that both Gross Requirement Report & Component Requirement Report utilize to filter their data. We are trying to import rather than retype this data.

    I do not see anything to direct me to this table.

    I went into the report designer for both reports but the tables listed (BM_ComponentReqmntWrk & BM_GrossReqmntWrk) do not hold the data. There is nothing in the filter of the report to direct where this data is held.

    The field list for possible import looks like:
    Bill # / Revision / Bill Options / Quantity

    Tip: To see the sources for a work table, create a UDF and look at the data sources listed for linking through a business object.
