Thanks very much, Kevin.  As you suggested, I did try the _svc and find with sItemCode &  but am still getting the same error.  I also tried the SetKey (rather than find) with _bus and got the same error. 

Any more suggestions?  And thanks so much for responding.  I appreciate the insights.

Thanks, Kevin.  I've done that, also.  It is reading the file records, but it bombs on the last warehouse for each item.  Could this be a bug, you think?

Is the last warehouse code not 3 digits by any chance?  We've had serious problems with 2 digit warehouse codes in the past.

Remember, IM_ItemWarehouse records are only created by Sage when necessary.  Check the retVal on your "Find" line to see if there actually was a match.  The script could be failing because there is no record in the table for that item / warehouse...

They are all 3 digit codes. And it does vary which warehouse it blows up on.  But it's always the last record.

n0tgunshy2 - what is the context of your script?  Where are you running it from? 

Do all attempts and finding a record fail?  If you do a .MoveFirst() or something does that work?  When setting the key components separately does the SetKeyValue() for each of them pass?  Are you using restricted warehouses?

And noted regarding 2 digit warehouse codes.  Good to know.

Yes, all attempts at .Find() fail.  The .MoveFirst() works. The SetKeyValue() for the item and warehouse work without error.  I also did a SetBrowseFilter and moved through each record, but it bombs with the same error when it reaches the final record for the item.  

And all warehouses are active, so I think we can rule out restricted warehouses.

It blows up on the Find, so I'm not able to check the retval on it, unfortunately. And I'm running this script during SO Invoice Entry when the invoice is saved.  I'm looping through each line to determine if we have the quantity on hand to fulfill the shipment.
