"You have an older version of the Time Capture database available., Would you like to convert them now?"

Is this safe to do? Any steps I should take before executing this prompt? Im worried that if I accept it could corrupt the data and want to confirm I take proper steps before executing this

Thank you for anyone who can give me any input on this. :)

KB 96734 has the details on the location of the files.  You can delete them if you are not using TimeCapture, as they will re-create new once you launch again.

The program is running in the system tray, and you can right-click it and select options to show it, quit the application, etc.

I have a suggestion. But I have not tested it, so may not work. Easy enough to test and revert back if it doesn't work.

It sounds like you do not use TimeCapture and would be okay with it just being effectively turned off.

    Two steps:

    1) Find the TimeCapture executable.  Default location would be: C:\ProgramFiles(x86)\Timeslips\TimeCapture\TimeCapture.exe and RENAME the TimeCapture.EXE to something else like TimeCaptureREM.EXE.

This will cause your machine NOT to automatically launch on reboot, and should stop the process from running.

    2) Reboot your computer.

It should stop complaining.  If not, you can always change the name back and reboot again to  be back where you started.

That's an awesome suggestion, I will try it.

All - thanks again for your input and efforts to help with this problem, which I couldn't resolve so I just would close the pop-up window and move on.  I finally figured out a way - or rather a utility program I run figured out a way - to fix this.  Glary Utilities (excellent software) has an a start up manager utility and using that, I was able to simply eliminate that step from the start up.
    Problem solved.

Windows has that functionality built-in by typing 'Startup Apps' in your search.  You can turn off startup items there with a toggle switch next to each.  The Time Capture program also has options to tell it not to launch at startup by right clicking and going to Options.

No third party apps need to be used, and Sage does not suggest you do so, nor is this product endorsed by publication or suggestion from a user of these free forums.
