TimeSlips 2019 slow response issues

Greetings everyone,

We are experiencing a lot issues with TimeSlips 2019 being unresponsive.  When we go to look up and or enter timeslips, we have to wait a few seconds for the screen to populate.

This is running from local network clients and also directly from the Windows Server 2012 R2 server.

Is there a good article available for best practices for tuning a configuration and settings?

    KB Article 87614 would be my first guess.

    Otherwise, make sure that any software is configured so that TCP Port 3050 is not being unnecessarily monitored for traffic.  It's clear the port is open and unblocked else the database would not be visible or usable.

    Configuring anti-virus software to not scan the installation path for where Timeslips is installed, and the C:\Program Files (x86)\Timeslips Firebird Server\ path on all machines may be of benefit as well.
