One enhancement I am hoping you will have in your next upgrade is the ability to close the books with a password. I can currently close the books as of a specific date. However, any user who wants to add a slip with a prior date and does so is prompted and asked to discuss with the manager but they can just click okay and the slip will be saved.
Thank you
That capability exists in current versions of Timeslips now actually, with security enabled, and passwords required on the Timekeepers.
Under the Slips heading in security, note the Allow Slip Creation on Restricted Clients, Restricted Dates and Restricted Time Spent selections. Selecting NO on these options will replace the cautionary message/warning, and will enforce the restriction and prevent creation of slips that fall outside the specific restriction with a message indicating the action taken.
Cool RogerS, do you know what version that became available in so that can check his version and see if it qualifies?

This was added in Timeslips 2013 - "You can now set up rules to restrict slip entry. You can restrict which dates can be used on the slip and you can restrict the time spent value used on the slip."
