Sage 100 Issues

I have recently downloaded the sage 100 program and now i am attempting to begin the training with the sample company. I have steps to follow with my workbook but the program does not allow me to make any changes to the general ledger. Has anyone run into the same issues?

Thanks for your post. Here’s our site for the educational versions of our software: http://sage.com/ca/about-us/education

Sage 100 is not offended as an educational version. Please recheck your install. Is it Sage 50 or Sage 300?
