Incorrect password or user ID during installation

I am installing Sage 300 2019 and have followed all steps but once I get to setting up the database from the sqlexress the default username and password from the book, I am getting an error message that tells me they are wrong! Does anyone have a fix for this problem or have any ideas on how to troubleshoot?

    Hi Jennifer, 

    Thanks for reaching out. Have you already seen KB 111600 on Installing Sage 300 Limited Educational Version Guide (Version 2021). Attached to that KB is a PDF guide to Installing Sage 300 Limited. I've attached it below, see page 18 for install instructions of SQL Express and page 34 for how to activate it.

    . Connect to the SQL Server by entering in the credentials below:
    • SQL Instance Name: <instance name>\SQLExpress
    • SQL Username: sa
    • SQL Password: Sage@300
