Updating to newer versions

Hello there, 
 I am part the admin team for a college in Canada. I have a student that has the Sage 50 2018 version (software and textbook). We teach the course using 2019. Does she need to update to 2019 in order to complete the course?

Hi Rhonda,

Thanks for reaching out. 2018 formatted student data and exercise files can be opened in the 2019 version. The publisher of each textbook has a different set of files, so the student should compare the 2018 vs 2019 exercises and data to see if they're the same.

Students can obtain their 12-month version from http://sage.com/ca/about-us/education
