    Hi Lie Ma,

    Thanks for reaching out. Please see KB 10404 with steps to take to resolve Error: "1324 the path transport folder contains an invalid character". Note that Sage 50 CA requires that Windows be set to English regional language characters.

    As for error 1603, you'll need to perform a clean re-install. You're better off making sure that Sage 50 is wiped from your system.

     Please follow the steps below to correct the issue:

    1. Uninstall Sage 50 Canadian Student Version
    2. Go to http://simplydownload.accpac.com/downloads/SimplyAccounting/students/StudentVerCleanUp.zip
    3. Run the "Student Version Utility"

    After uninstalling,  also use the Microsoft tool called "Fix problems that block programs from being installed or removed**

    From <https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/17588/fix-problems-that-block-programs-from-being-installed-or-removed>

    Select the uninstall option and then once the programs list, ensure that Sage 50 isn't on that list. Run it several times if you need to. Once all references to Sage 50 are removed, see the KB 10407 linked here for further steps to ensure the registry has no Sage 50 reference.

    Once you have completed those steps, you can re-install Sage 50 Canadian and Activate the program. To do this, please go to http://na.sage.com/ca/about-us/education

    If you have already downloaded the software, you can go directly to the activation page. If not then register to acquire some codes:

    1. Open a web browser and go to;
    2. Fill in the form with the appropriate information.
    3. Wait until a reply email is sent to you from Sage Education.
    4. Use the Serial number and Key code in the email to activate your Sage 50 program.
    5. These codes can be used when you reinstall the program onto another computer

    Lastly, support is available at 1-888-522-2722. Students may receive support for installation issues only. Complimentary technical support is not included with the Sage 50 student version, students are advised to contact their instructor for assistance. For anything else, sure to email [email protected]. Hope this helps!

    Warm Regards,
    Erzsi
