Thanks for reaching out. During the install process, the last screen has a radio box asking if you'd like a shortcut to be added to the desktop, perhaps this was unchecked? Can you locate the program in your start menu programs list? If the software was successfully installed, then you'll find a folder labelled with Sage, withing there's be an icon to launch version you installed. Right clicking this icon gives you these options:

Once the file locations opens, right click the program icon again and you'll find an option to send the icon to the desktop.

If you don't have any of the above options, please see this KB on being unable to locate the program's icon.
