Student version of Sage 50, installation

I am trying to install the DVD student program to my computer.  The instructions say an Icon will appear on my desk top.  It did not.  What did I do wrong?

    Hello ,

    Thanks for reaching out! At the end of the Sage 50 CA installation there would have been a box to check off in order to get the desktop icon to show. If you go to your Start Menu and then find the programs folder for Sage 50, look for the program icon and then right click "send to desktop." ( Also note that if you tried to install onto a MAC operating system, the install would have failed. Sage 50 can only be installed onto a Windows OS).
