Pending Timeoff Requests not visible for action

SOLVED

We currently have a situation where pending time off requests are not showing in either the employee or manager list views to be actioned, however, they are visible in the TimeOff Calendar.  In all of the cases, the date for the request has already passed.

Has anyone else had this experience?  Is there a simple fix for this?

We are currently on Sage Employee Self Service (Version 10.702601)

We have had several problems with ESS Time Off around requests past the date. The employee can't see anything once the requested date has passed until it is saved into Sage. It is even removed from the requested calculation. Sometimes the manager id doesn't get written to the request correctly and it can end up either lost in the database or in the ESS Admins' message centers. For the former, a manual update of the database field is the only fix. The latter can be resolved by an ESS Admin. This tends to happen for us when the manager has not created an ESS account when the request is made.

Thanks for responding.  Your response put me on a path to check some things via SQL.

In our case, since the manager did not action the records in time, they appeared to have been missed from the relevant views.

My current fix was to set all of the pending transactions to Approved or Rejected (varied by user and transaction) and then initiate the Process Taken Time Off administrator procedure. Once this was done, the transactions then appeared both in the Manager and User views for TimeOff.

We then went to HRMS Core and ran the Post to Summary process and all of the 'missing' entries are now visible there.

That is interesting. We have not had the issue with it disappearing for managers, only employees. Maybe there is a setting for that?
