"Customizing Sage HRMS and What's New in the Q1 2020 Product Update" Questions and Answers

Here are the questions and their answers from our two "Customizing Sage HRMS and What's New in the Q1 2020 Product Update" classes. Thanks for attending and see you in the next one!

When does the update for 1st quarter need completed? There isn't a specific due date but we do recommend installing the update sooner then later. This will ensure your data is up to date.
How do you know if there a Quarterly Update is available? You should receive a message when logging into Sage HRMS letting you know. :)
How do we set the system to alert us when an update is ready. Abra suite would alert us of update when we logged on. Does HRMS do this?  Sage HRMS has the exact same functionality. You will receive a notification when you log in if any updates have been posted.
Do I have to set something up because I did not get the alert for Q1. As long as in User Preferences you do not have "I want to opt out of the Product Survey Program" checked, you should see the updates. And don't worry: even though it says "Product Survey Program" is also for our updates appearing. Oh and there has been one survey sent out in the past 15 years so you don't have to worry about receiving survey spam. :)
Show us again where we choose alerts please  Put if you go to the gear icon, choose User Preferences and it's the last checkbox on the right.,Meredith, Make sure you have not selected to opt out of the Product Survey program 
Question, I updated the customize menu and clicked ok... now it has been updating several fields and has been rebuilding data dictionary tables, building steps table, and all other tables, is this normal? It can be! Updating Sage HRMS may take a bit depending on how much data you have and possibly how much network traffic you have.
I would like to know when you might expect the new Family First COVID codes to be released? Great question. We are watching the legislation as they put it into place and once everything is locked in, we will have either a quarterly release or a service release with any updated or added codes.
Under Setup > I only have three options and none are to customize reports. You may not have the rights and permissions to customize reports. Try logging on as the Master user and see if you have this option.
