When I run the Consolidated Reporting Line Item Summary it includes closed projects, not desirable. Also, it doesn't include some projects, I believe, because there are too many. I have to manually choose half of the projects to run "part A" and then the other half "part B" for the remaining. This is time consuming. I believe this happens because of the 9999 PENDING TRANSACTIONS LINE ITEM always being Active without the ability to close it. Is there a solution? I have spoken to someone on chat, but it could not be resolved.
What release version of Sage Fixed Assets Planning are you currently using? When we know the release version we can continue with a best approach to make this process work smoother for you.
Have you tried using the select projects from the right side of the report name box? Here you can select the projects that you want to report on and exclude the closed or no longer used projects. Are running the consolidated Line Item Summary report or the consolidated project listing?
If the consolidated Line Item Summary report is the report that you are running there may be an option to create a group based on Type. The field Type is on the line item level and you can put in Type is not P for the group criteria. Then use this group when running this report. That should exclude the pending line item.
As far as the long list of projects I will get back to you on this as it is needed to determine what can be done to work it with all the projects select that you want in one run.
I currently use choose projects but we have too many projects for this to be manageable. It takes far too long and it is difficult to remember if a project is open or closed.
I need to include type P to retrieve the current spend by project that is still in planning. Is there a way to exclude any Type P that the Actual = $0.00? This way I can select all projects without all of the manual clicking or maintaining a "group" that would require adding new projects each month or deleting closed ones.
I tried creating a group as follows:
but it still only gives me projects up to the letter S even though I selected all.
When I select all I receive this error message:
