Web Scheduling - Infrastructure

SUGGESTED

According to the installation guide for web scheduling the infrastructure requirements require a single/dual/triple server configuration, one of which is a SQL install, based on the number of operations that will need to be scheduled. For most mid-sized businesses this will probably mean a dual server install.

Does anyone have any real-world experience of a web scheduling install? For instance, is it possible to install the web scheduling application on one of the X3 servers, such as the Syracuse or print server? Is it possible to have a separate instance of the X3 SQL database for running the web scheduling database, thus avoiding the need for a separate server?

The implication of the standard recommendations with the additional servers, and windows and SQL licensing will considerably increase the TCO of the web scheduling module for existing customers, and could make it less attractive to new prospects.
