PFM calculation on sales orders in FX vs Last Receipt cost (prod-site record)

SOLVED

i'm having an issue understanding how Sage calculates the PFM on the sales order.  In addition how is the system supposed to display the Last Receipt Cost on the product-site record if the last transaction received is in foreign currency?   There appears to be no consistancy with the PFM display or the Last receipt cost display when PO's and SO's are in foreign currency.  I should mention that we are multi-legislation and our systems currency is USD however the foreign entities report in Euro and this is where I am questioning the display of the margin and LRC.

From what I've read the PFM is based off of the SO cost less the last receipt cost .  I've used the currency rate to convert values but I just cannot seem to get the same values that Sage is displaying.

anyone else have this problem?

thanks

Christine

to my own reply should anyone view:  contacted Sage support on this who advised that the last receipt cost is not always the last received cost.  If the purchase invoice was created AFTER the purchase receipt then the system will display the purchase invoice cost.  HOWEVER this can be misleading in the field if the purchase invoice was done in different currency.  The display will be of the purchase invoice currency NOT the system currency which is very misleading especially when using the PFM field from the sales order for workflows to advise user about low margins.
