I am pretty certain, this can be done by using the configurator. You can easily set a template BoM, and then you identify the criteria (height; width and depth) that will be taken into account in the global growth coefficient (2.5 in your example).

Configurator can help you create the product codes, BoM and routing based on a set of input questions.

Hi Julien, Thanks much for your response. Appreciated. Two more quick questions:

- Can we input scenarios in configurator, directly from excel. As you said "set of input questions", can we answer these questions from excel to configurator and configurator creates BOM automatically. For instance I have 1,000 variation of the product so I want to put all these 1,000 variation in excel and import in configurator window to read and create 1,000 BOMs accordingly for the same product. We will consider going for an add-on too, here.

- Is there any way to define my product in three UOMs height, length and width instead of volume. Standard product just offers 1 UOM which is volume and not the length, height and width.

Hi, we can't input the scenario from Excel but you can run the scenario in mass: FUNCFGAUT.

Product must be linked to a single stock unit: EA for instance. However, it's possible to store each dimensions using the product line (dedicated product attributes used by the configurator).
