After loading new work orders into Web Scheduling, they could not be scheduled properly. What is happening?

Less than one minute read time.

Web scheduling Total Import deletes all existing data about Resources, Shifts, Work Orders and Operations and re-imports this data into Web Scheduling. With a Partial Import, the Sage X3 WebService is called with a date filter and provides all the data changed after this date. So where in Web Scheduling is it date information set?

To begin, we should start at the beginning…well, maybe not the very very beginning so let’s begin with the work order. When entering the work order a Start Date is entered. Then the work order can be submitted to the scheduler. Once that happens the Status of the work order changes to Being Optimized.

But how are those time periods set in Web Scheduling? In the Analytics application, the time period is set by setting the Scheduling Start Date Parameter Value. Once a Total Import or Partial Import is run then those dates will flow through to the Web Scheduling application.

(dates flowed through from Analytics)
