We are a Managed Services Provider for a client. Recently, when opening Sage Estimating software, the client received the message, "License will expire in XX days since all recent attempts to contact Sage have failed." A Sage systems integrator sent our client a document that supposedly addresses the issue. On the Sage Server, we are to open License Administration by going to Start -> Sage Administration -> License Administration. We are then to select "Update license information" on the center right. Close the License Administration window. Then open Sage to verify that they no longer receive an error message. But when we click "Update", we get the message "No license uses were available for localhost". When we try to open Sage Estimating, we receive the message "The designated license server, localhost, has no activated product licenses. Specify a different license server and try again." Any thoughts?
Hi Jason Richardson-White,
Since it looks like you are using Sage Estimating, I am going to move this post to that Support Group so that other users of this software will see it and can offer you their thoughts and insight.
Have you checked to see if the Port Estimating uses to phone home is open? That is where I would start. Hopefully, you are on a maintenance plan and have support cases available.
